K9 Lawn Pals is a client project. I was tasked with creating a rebranded website with a lively personality that focused on UI/UX and consideration of responsive web design.
Living in harsh weather conditions in Buffalo/Western New York a pet owner might not always be thrilled with cleaning their yard after their furry four-legged friend.
Creating a website with a lively personality through images and copy while keeping it professional was a requirement for this company.
The client received 140 new clients since the website launch in February 2020, 99 of which were permanent and deemed essential during COVID-19.
The success of the K9 Lawn pals website led to the client wanting to expand their business. The task included keeping the business under their current branding while introducing minor changes to the brand maintaining consistency between the K9 Lawn Pals landing page and the Business Scoop page.
The Business scoop website used similar styling throughout the website as the parent website.
The header changed colours, and the secondary colouring was altered to ensure colour contrast. Colours were chosen to represent the feelings that the client felt most strongly represented the brand.
The purple was used as it's often associated with meanings of wealth, was used in this case to provide an idea of playfulness, and the yellow a sign of happiness. While all these colours represent something they also have a great colour contrast making sure each colour stands out individually.

My role in this project was to design and develop. Creating, searching and using existing content and information while focusing on UI/UX and responsive design. Images were sourced and an updated fresh vector logo was provided by Cristina Cromeyer based on an existing logo.
